Our Mission & Philosophy

Our Mission

The law firm of Seyferth Blumenthal & Harris was founded by BigLaw refugees. We believe that our lawyers should handle the day-to-day aspects of our clients’ cases, work on improving our trial and other lawyering skills, and worry about whether we are returning the best possible results for our clients. We have maintained these principles and work to instill them in all of our attorneys.

Seyferth Blumenthal & Harris’ lawyers practice law with a singular focus – to be the best litigation and trial lawyers representing business, on the merits. Period. We are hired to win cases, not go through the motions to recommend settlement on the eve of trial. And if a case should be settled, our clients expect us to advise them about our assessment of the merits and settlement options before they incur massive attorneys’ fees.

Our Philosophy

The Seyferth Blumenthal & Harris philosophy is based on the premise that clients deserve – and need – experienced and qualified lawyers handling all facets of their litigation matters, without paying abusive amounts for such service. To provide this type of client service, a firm must (1) actually be open to innovative fee arrangements that might vary according to a particular client, or a particular matter; (2) operate from a geographic location that offers easy travel options and a reasonable overhead base; (3) commit to controlling office overhead; (4) properly use technology to stay nimble, efficient, and available; and, most importantly (5) offer only the services of passionate, experienced lawyers who understand the nuance of business litigation and/or employment disputes at every stage.
