Practice Areas:

Commercial Litigation| Employment Litigation

Aleigh represents employers in a broad range of employment and commercial litigation matters, with a focus on complex business disputes involving contract claims and business torts.

Prior to joining the firm, Aleigh practiced law at a Kansas City law firm, concentrating on complex adoption, guardianship, child abuse and neglect, and juvenile law matters, including cases with criminal components. There, she honed her skills in trial advocacy, courtroom presentation and legal writing.

During law school, Aleigh served in two judicial internships with the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, conducting legal research and drafting memoranda. She also served as a teaching assistant in Constitutional Law and Evidence and was a member of the moot court team.

She graduated with honors from UMKC School of Law in 2022 and received the Professor Robert T. Downs Scholarship. Before law school, she held senior roles at Oracle (formerly Cerner Corporation), earned her MBA from UMKC’s Bloch School of Management, and began her career with a journalism degree from the University of Missouri.

Aleigh is a proud Ross T. Roberts Trial Academy alumna, and she regularly serves as a Guardian ad Litem and has secured permanency for hundreds of children in foster care, demonstrating her commitment to justice and the community.
