Missouri Lawyers Weekly interviewed Seyferth Blumenthal & Harris, LLC (SBH) member Kimberly Jones on the increase in complex and difficult-to-prove employment law matters related to COVID-19. She offered insight into what negligence cases might look like on employee deaths, “particularly in states that don’t allow workers who have contracted the disease on the job to seek workers’ compensation.”
In addition, Jones talked about helping clients navigate federal legislation changes and economic fallout. The full article can be read at this link.
An accomplished trial lawyer in a career now spanning more than two decades, Jones focuses her practice on labor and employment law representing companies, not-for-profits, and higher education institutions in federal and state courts and before AAA and labor arbitration panels. She also counsels clients through complicated labor and employment issues, including harassment, effective supervision, and managing the absent employee.
