Kansas City Business Journal interviews Blumenthal on legal considerations for employers maintaining, enforcing mask policies

The Kansas City Business Journal featured Seyferth Blumenthal & Harris LLC (SBH) member Michael L. Blumenthal in a recent article related to employers considering the enforcement of a mask policy in the workplace following CDC guidance allowing for looser restrictions on vaccinated individuals. Blumenthal noted that there is still little clarity in what constitutes best practices in this instance.

“You can make some educated decisions and take some calculated risks about whether a policy or practice would comply with various guidance or have a potential for exposing your business to risk, but there is also some politics loaded into these decisions as well,” Blumenthal said in the article, which can be read here (subscription required).

Blumenthal is a founding member of SBH with a practice devoted to representing management in workplace legal issues and representing businesses in high-stakes business litigation. He is known as an aggressive and passionate trial lawyer and is admitted to the bars of Kansas, Missouri, and Georgia and has defended lawsuits in more than 20 states.
