Seyferth Blumenthal & Harris LLC (SBH) is proud to announce managing partner Kimberly A. Jones earned distinction on Missouri Lawyers Media’s inaugural Top Managing Partners list, released this month.

This honor is presented to a select number of the best-known managing partners of Missouri law firms who persistently work hard at what they do. Missouri Lawyers Media “looked for managing partners who exemplify the diversity of Missouri’s legal profession, from large firms that encompass multiple practice areas to smaller firms that focus their efforts on a narrow range of issues.”

Jones is an employment trial lawyer representing companies, not-for-profit organizations, and higher education institutions in federal and state courts and before AAA and labor arbitration panels. She also provides day-to-day counsel on human resources issues and trains management and employees on a variety of employment issues.

“Jones maintains an active trial practice, including a recent defense win for a restaurant group owned by a Kansas City-area attorney after an employee alleged she was sexually assaulted at work,” Missouri Lawyers Media wrote in part for a profile that can be read in full here. In addition to her private practice, Jones invests significant time into civic and professional involvements, including her role as immediate past chair of the board of the Women’s Employment Network, a Kansas City-based organization that helps women achieve economic independence through employment. She also works with the Mid-America LGBT Chamber of Commerce and previously served on the Kansas City steering committee for the Human Rights Campaign.
