Seyferth Blumenthal & Harris LLC is pleased to announce member Kimberly Jones has been elected the new chair of the board of directors for the Women’s Employment Network (WEN), which works to advance positive change in the lives of women, their families, and the community. WEN’s mission is to help women raise their self-esteem and achieve economic independence through sustained employment. Services the organization provides include financial coaching, resume assistance, interview skills training, and other programs designed to help women, particularly those in vulnerable communities, advance their careers.
Jones has been involved with WEN for several years, most recently serving as the vice-chair of the board of directors.
An accomplished trial lawyer in a career now spanning more than two decades, Jones focuses her practice on labor and employment law representing companies, not-for-profits, and higher education institutions in federal and state courts and before AAA and labor arbitration panels. She also counsels clients through complicated labor and employment issues, including harassment, effective supervision, and managing the absent employee.
Jones has served as SBH’s managing member since 2016.
