KCUR brings on SBH attorney Jones to discuss legal issues related to COVID 19

Seyferth Blumenthal & Harris, LLC (SBH) member Kimberly Jones provided legal insight into issues related to COVID-19 during a recent radio segment with KCUR host Steve Kraske. Jones discussed the fallout from the pandemic and the creation of unprecedented legal conundrums for individuals and businesses.

While unable to provide specific legal advice, Jones weighed in on employment and unemployment technicalities, evictions and more that have created confusion in this time of uncertainty. This included a look at legal orders, stay-at-home ordinances and other federal and state regulatory updates.

An accomplished trial lawyer in a career now spanning more than two decades, Jones focuses her practice on labor and employment law representing companies, not-for-profits, and higher education institutions in federal and state courts and before AAA and labor arbitration panels. She also counsels clients through complicated labor and employment issues, including harassment, effective supervision, and managing the absent employee.

Jones has served as SBH’s managing member since 2016.
