Werthen Gass, a University of Missouri School of Law graduate, joined SBH in 2026. Werthen has experience defending clients in matters involving auto liability, premises liability, insurance coverage, and property damage claims.
During her time at the University of Missouri, Werthen worked as a teaching assistant for Legal Research and Writing, Advocacy and Research, and Introduction to Business Law, served on executive boards for Phi Alpha Delta and the Women’s Law Association, and was the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Dispute Resolution. Prior to law school, Werthen attended Missouri State University, where she earned a degree in marketing and an MBA.
Werthen’s experience has allowed her to gain a deep understanding of the legal process and hone her legal research and writing skills. Her unique perspective allows her to be a strategic advocate for the clients she serves.
