Seyferth Blumenthal & Harris LLC (SBH) is pleased to earn recognition as a “Recommended Firm” for Missouri in Benchmark Litigation’s 2023 Labor & Employment guide, considered the definitive guide to America’s leading litigation firms and attorneys. Additionally, Benchmark Litigation honored five firm members — Paul Seyferth, Michael L. BlumenthalCharlie J. Harris, Jr., Kimberly Jones and Danny Ramón — as Labor & Employment Stars for their work.

Benchmark Litigation exclusively covers the litigation and disputes markets and aims to provide law firm and lawyer rankings based on important legal matters handled and firm developments. The Labor & Employment guide is in its fourth year honoring the top firms and individual practices specifically dedicated to this area of law.

Seyferth focuses his practice on high-stakes and high-profile employment and business litigation. He has tried a variety of commercial and employment cases throughout the United States, including discrimination, fraud, breach of contract and trade-secret cases in his 30-plus years practicing law.

Blumenthal is a founding member of Seyferth Blumenthal & Harris, with a practice devoted to representing management in workplace legal issues and representing businesses in high-stakes business litigation. He is known as an aggressive and passionate trial lawyer and is admitted to the bars of Kansas, Missouri, and Georgia and has defended lawsuits in more than 20 states.

Harris is a nationally recognized labor and employment attorney with a practice focused on the representation of corporations, nonprofit entities, corporate officers and directors, and municipalities against claims of disability, race, gender, sex and age discrimination; sexual harassment; and wage and hour and collective actions. He’s known for his dynamic trial advocacy skills and his ability to craft solutions to difficult business-related problems.

Jones is an employment trial lawyer representing companies, not-for-profit organizations, and higher education institutions in federal and state courts and before AAA and labor arbitration panels. In addition to providing day-to-day counsel on human resources issues, she trains management and nonmanagement employees nationwide on a variety of employment issues, including prohibited harassment, effective supervision, and managing the absent employee.

Ramón concentrates his practice in employment law and general civil litigation, at the trial and appellate level. Danny’s experience covers a wide range of subject areas including: employment discrimination and retaliation lawsuits; enforcement of covenants not to compete; drafting of employee handbook and other agreements; and complex business disputes, including those involving trade secrets, contracts, fiduciary duties, and insurance litigation.
