Seyferth Blumenthal & Harris welcomes Kayla Knipfel as an Associate Attorney

Seyferth Blumenthal & Harris is pleased to announce that Kayla Knipfel has joined the firm as an associate attorney.

Kayla comes to SBH with a background in personal injury, products liability and professional malpractice. She started her career at a leading plaintiff’s firm and focused her practice on complex mass tort and antitrust litigation. Her experience advocating for plaintiffs gives her valuable insight into the strategies of plaintiff’s attorneys, giving her leverage for crafting effective defenses for her clients.

Kayla gained diverse legal experience through her internships with the U.S. Department of Labor, a criminal defense practice and a nationally recognized workers’ compensation firm. She is also very active in the local community through a variety of initiatives, including the UMKC Expungement Clinic, which helps indigent Missourians seal their criminal records, and the UMKC Abandoned Housing Clinic, which works to restore abandoned properties in Kansas City’s urban core.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kayla as an associate at SBH,” said managing partner Kimberly Jones. “Kayla’s depth of experience handling complex personal injury and products liability matters will be a valuable asset for our firm. Our team is confident that she will maintain our commitment to being a strong advocate for our clients to protect the integrity of their businesses.”

Kayla completed her undergraduate degree at Missouri State University and later earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.
