Seyferth Blumenthal & Harris is thrilled to have Mia Oyama join the firm as an associate attorney.
Mia joins SBH from a New Jersey law firm, where her work focused on employment discrimination, local government representation and tort claims. Her work at SBH will focus on these matters as well. She has a very diverse background of legal experience through a number of internships at several small law firms in New Jersey, a luxury department store chain and the Notre Dame Department of Athletics.
Mia’s strong understanding of defending clients in employment, discrimination and local government matters positions her to be an asset for the firm, bringing a strategic mindset to determine the best course of action to support her clients’ arguments.
“We are excited to have Mia join the firm as an associate this year,” said Managing Partner Kimberly Jones. “Our team feels confident that Mia will be a strong advocate for her clients and that her background and knowledge will be valuable in matters related to employment law and government representation.”
Mia completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Florida and went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the Notre Dame Law School.
